Dancing Drum at NAfME 2021: Teach to the Virtual Beat! Drumming and S.E.L. in the Online Classroom
Dancing Drum will be presenting at the National Association for Music Education's 2021 annual conference.
Dancing Drum's Musical Director, Mr. Steve Campbell, will lead an interactive session titled "Teach to the Virtual Beat! Drumming and S.E.L. in the Online Classroom".
In this session, participants will learn how to effectively teach drumming and S.E.L. through character rhythms and raps about Caring, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courage and more in the virtual online classroom! Using buckets, food containers, pencils, body percussion and drums, all of your students can join in the rhythm while reinforcing important character lessons at the same time.
This session is scheduled for Saturday, February 27th, 2021, at 3:30-4:00 EST (12:30-1:00PST).
